Hybrid SL Shell Construction
Smith’s Hybrid Shell construction combines separate lightweight and durable shells to create an entirely new helmet category. By fusing the tough bombshell ABS construction with flyweight In-Mold technology, Smith's Hybrid Shell construction optimizes the favorable traits of each material in this revolutionary process. The result is a modern design that provides a lightweight, low profile, perfectly fitting helmet. Hybrid Shell construction also creates a clean, smooth top surface by enabling the low profile Regulator to function with reduced mass and volume.

AEROCORE Construction featuring Koroyd
Smith's objective and design philosophy behind AEROCORE construction is to increase airflow, improve temperature regulation resulting in fog-free vision and improve impact resistance. The objective was achieved through the combination of materials such as EPS and Koroyd, a revolutionary new material that absorbs more energy upon impact when compared to international standards, while increasing airflow. AEROCORE construction through the use of Koroyd and EPS allows for more vents to be placed throughout the helmet without sacrificing protection and comfort.

AirEvac 2 Ventilation
AirEvac 2 continues to drive the warm air away from the goggle through external vents and internal channels in the EPS liner. Internal airflow can be adjusted through the helmet's Regulator climate control system.

Adjustable Boa FS360 Fit System
Taking customized fit to the next level, Smith introduces the Boa FS360 Fit System. With a full 360 degree halo design, this system advances the category by offering both forward and lateral fit adjustment. Feel the fit system snug to the head in a full halo, allowing for a “floating” effect that eliminates helmet hot spots. Low-Profile Dual Regulator Adjustable Climate Control
Temperature control is THE most important feature when considering how to enjoy the entire day on the hill. Smith's Dual Regulator ventilation system independently controls the front and rear sections of the Vantage venting, allowing you to modulate your body temperature even in extremely cold conditions. By exhausting heat through the rear vents while maintaining a sealed front end, your body can effectively cool down if needed and avoid the dreaded “ice cream headache.”

Nanosilver Performance Lining
Smith high-end helmets feature X-Static and Nanosilver technical lining materials. With silver-based anti-microbial features, these linings keep your helmet clean and comfortable. All linings are removable and machine washable.

Snapfit SL2 Ear Pads
Smith earpads, with their inner surface of technical materials, provide a comfortable seal from the wind and weather on even the stormiest days. For a warm spring day, remove the earpads entirely to reduce weight and maximize cooling. All earpads are fully removable and machine washable.

Removable Ultra-Light Goggle Lock
All Smith helmets feature removable goggle clips on the rear of the helmet. Just slide your goggle strap under the goggle clip and know that your goggles will still be there after sending it head- over-heels through blower powder. Alternately, remove the goggle clip for a weight reduction and clean silhouette while wearing your goggles under your helmet. Customize your helmet for your best days.
