In 1990, Tommy Delago and Sepp Ardelt founded the snowboard brand Nitro in Seattle. Since then, the brand has become an integral part of the snowboard scene. The snowboard manufacturer was founded in the rainy metropolis from which the Starbucks coffee house chain comes from. Even today the company is one of the few owner-managed snowboard brands in the world.
The American company has been a fixture in the snowboard world since it was founded, which may not only be due to the quality of the equipment, but also to the very special closeness that Nitro Snowboards shares with sports and athletes.
