What began as a spontaneous project in the fall of 2006 is now a vibrant brand that passionately combines the snowboarding and freeskiing lifestyle. The first products? A hand-crocheted headband and a beanie - classics that continue to shape our product range today.
Since 1991, Mat and Seb have shared their passion for snowboarding. From contests across Europe to backcountry adventures worldwide - they have shared their experiences with countless snowboarders and freeskiers. Many of these friendships are still part of the HAE family today. This means: Our products are regularly put through their paces - on and off the mountain - and constantly evolving to meet the highest standards.
Even though HAE has grown significantly and we now have the option to have parts of our product range fairly produced in India, we never forget our roots. Many of our products, from headbands to neck warmers to beanies, are still handmade in Valais – by family, friends, and supporters who have been with us since the very beginning. This connection to craftsmanship, quality, and passion remains at the heart of what we do.
